Nomo Training

The need for training is growing

Nomos technical department offers a wide training program adapted to different education levels.
― We have programs for both customers and employees, says the Technical Manager at Nomo.

― Internally, we run maintaining training for our sales force on technology news and new product designs from our suppliers. Since rolling bearings is the largest segment, many trainings are linked to this.
― Our external training programs are designed for different levels and include both theory and practice. They are aimed for both OEM and MRO customers. The theoretical part is usually wider for designers, while MRO service mechanics generally needs a little less theory and instead focuses on the practice part, she explains.
― In courses for designers, we, among other things, focus on bearing selection and tolerances for various applications. For designers, this is important knowledge in order to be able to design the surrounding components. The more primary for a mechanic is the practical handling.
There are also courses focused on specific product areas such as housings, precision bearings for machine industry, slewing rings, lubrication technology and more.
― We simply adapt the education to each customer’s needs, the technical manager continues.
― An example is when our technicians together with salesmen holds training and demonstration of bearing assembly and disassembly at the industry workshop where the service technicians themselves perform various practical elements.
